Noble Mineral Resources (ASX: NMG) has been placed in pre-open this morning after the ASX granted the company a trading halt pending the outcome of resolutions put to shareholders at today's general meeting.
Zhongrun also has a proposed investment of A$84.7 million into Noble via a two-tranche placement.
Resolute Mining (ASX: RSG) recently improved its Financing Offer to Noble, and after discussions with Noble, Resolute has:
- extended the period for acceptance of the proposed US$15 million unsecured shortterm debt facility until Friday, 9 November 2012;
- made the Financing Offer irrevocable until Friday, 9 November 2012; and
- agreed to work with Noble and its advisers in the period prior to the postponed General Meeting to further increase the level of certainty attached to Resolute’s Financing Offer in the event that Resolution 6 is voted down.
The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the open of trade on Friday 9th November 2012.
