Mithril Resources intersects copper zinc across multiple targets at East Arunta

Mithril Resources (ASX: MTH) received final assay results from recently completed reverse circulation drilling covering six targets at its East Arunta project, Northern Territory.

Drilling intersected zones of copper or copper–zinc anomalism at all but the Coles Hill North target.

Six targets - Mini Me West, El Gordo, Ivana, Harry Creek, Red Rock Bore, and Coles Hill North - were tested, with the recent drilling being the first ever at Mini Me West, Ivana and Coles Hill.

Mini Me West, El Gordo and Ivana are subject to a joint venture between Mithril (80% and operator) and Sammy Resources (20%), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cazaly Resources (ASX: CAZ)

Drilling at these prospects intersected broad zones of disseminated sulphide, returning minor copper anomalism.

At Mithril's 100% owned Harry Creek and Red Rock Bore prospects, copper–zinc anomalism was intersected including 7 metres at 0.56% copper and 0.25% zinc from 109 metres, and 12.3 metres at 3.7% zinc, with mineralisation open in all directions.

It is only early days at the project, and considering the broadly spaced nature of drilling, the results continue to highlight the base metal prospectivity of the East Arunta project area.
