Rock chip samples including up to 13.9g/t gold have been discovered at the Mithril Resources (ASX: MTH) Huckitta Project in the Northern Territory.
The new prospect, known as Tibbs, is a new gold-tungsten-copper prospect with a strike length over 3 kilometres, with multiple rock chip samples returning highly anomalous above 1g/t gold, tungsten and copper values.
Mithril is continuing geological mapping and sampling, with drill testing planned for early in 2011.
This discovery is located within wholly owned Mithril ground and on EL25453, which is part of the Hart’s Range Joint Venture where Mithril holds a 60% interest and Oklo Uranium (ASX: OKU) holds 40%.
In other Mithril news, shallow drilling at Manuel and Polly copper prospects has identified targets for drill testing, with assays are still pending for the recent drilling at Polly.
