Lite Access lights up after big order

The deal is worth C$900,000 and is for an expansion of existing services

Fibre optic cable layer Lite Access Technologies Inc (CNSX:LTE) saw its shares surge in early deals as it unveiled a C$900,000 order.

The company has received a purchase order from The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, in Washington State.

The latest order consists of the supply of the company’s proprietary micro-duct and fibre optic components for an existing client in Washington State and also another proprietary micro-trench fibre build for the Colville Tribes.

“Working with James Hettrick, chief information officer of Colville Confederated Tribes and his team continues to be both a pleasure and very successful partnership,” said Mike Plotnikoff, chief executive officer of Lite Access.

“Expansion orders are becoming a regular occurrence for Lite Access, which underscores the tremendous value that our partners and customers are realising from our best-in-class technology and proprietary products as the solution of choice for fibre optic connectivity in their respective communities,” he added.

Shares in Lite Access were trading at C$1.375, up 6.2% on the day, in early deals.
