Maximus Resources (ASX:MXR) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX today pending an announcement to the market expected by Monday.
Shares in the Adelaide based company were last trading at a 52-week high of A$0.004.
Maximus has been occupied most recently with development of its Spargoville project in Western Australia, where significant new gold anomalies were identified last month adjacent to the former high-grade Wattle Dame mine.
These preliminary assays were expected to be followed up by final laboratory results.
