Marmota Energy (ASX:MEU) is preparing to reveal new assay results from the company’s calcrete sampling program on the Westpoint Hill target in the West Gawler Craton.
Adding interest, in October 2015, Marmota’s calcrete sampling (on 800m grid) at Westpoint Hill identified gold-in-calcrete anomalous assay results of 70ppb to 107ppb.
These are better than 99.9% of all calcrete sampling results in the South Australian Government database.
Following these results, Marmota commenced high detail comprehensive infill calcrete sampling via auger drilling at Westpoint Hill.
Marmota has now been granted a trading halt to prepare, with its shares placed in pre-open.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 17th February 2016, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
