White Cliff Minerals' (ASX: WCN) is preparing to reveal details of the acquisition of majority interest in an exploration project, with the ASX granting the company a trading halt this morning.
White Cliff's shares are now in pre-open.
The company has recently been focussing on the Kyrgyz Republic, where it made a copper-gold discovery at the Chanach project.
Channel rock chip sampling delivered: 7 metres at 3.83% copper and 30.1g/t gold.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Thursday 13th February 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
