White Cliff Minerals drills further holes at Lake Johnston nickel prospect

White Cliff Minerals (ASX: WCN) has started a three hole drilling program targeting coincident electromagnetic and nickel-copper soil anomalies at the Mt Gordon prospect of its Lake Johnston Project in Western Australia.

These anomalies are interpreted to occur on the basal contact of the ultramafic unit and the underlying felsic sediments at depths of 150 to 250 metres.

The three holes will take about one week to complete with assay results expected to be available in about three weeks.

This will be followed by a five drilling program at the Lake Percy prospect also targeting coincident electromagnetic and nickel-copper soil anomalies at the Lake Percy prospect.

This will take two weeks to complete with assay results expected about three weeks later.

White Cliff believes the drilling will allow a number of additional category one drill targets to be refined for its Phase Three program, which will kick off in mid-2013.

The company had raised $1.6 million in February 2013.
