White Cliff Nickel intersects massive 40 metre sulphide zone at Mt Remarkable

White Cliff Nickel (ASX: WCN) has intersected a large 40 metre sulphide zone after reverse circulation drilling at the company’s Mt Remarkable Gold and Nickel Project in Western Australia.

The strike occurs in the same volcanic sequence that hosts Jabiru Metals (ASX: JML), Jaguar, Teutonic Bore and Bentley copper-zinc-gold-lead deposits 120 kilometres to the north.

White Cliff started the drilling project early last month with key targets including Kambalda style nickel sulphide, volcanic massive sulphide and narrow vein lode gold.

Mt Remarkable is located 170 kilometres north-northeast of Kalgoorlie, covering 604 square kilometres and is prospective for gold, nickel and base metals.

The company has four other projects in Australia and a gold project in the Kyrgyz Republic called the Chanach copper gold project.

Chanach covers 93 square kilometres in the Tien Shan gold province, considered the most extensive and highly mineralised gold province in the world.

Preliminary rock chip samples from the project contain up to 40 grams per tonne gold and 5% copper.
