Lynas Corporation's (ASX: LYC, OTC: LYSDY) shares firmed 7.4% yesterday to close at $0.29, which volume exceeding ten million shares traded.
It has been a tough 2013 for the rare earths company, with the current value around half of where it was trading during the first quarter of the year.
The Lynas plan is provide a fully integrated source of rare earths from mine through to market, which is based on the Mount Weld project in Western Australia - which is the richest known deposit of rare earths in the world.
The company has a rare earths processing plant, known as the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP), which is based near Kuantan in Pahang, Malaysia.
