West African explorer Volta Mining (ASX: VTM) is preparing to release details concerning an acquisition, along with a capital raising.
The Australian Stock Exchange has granted the company a trading halt this morning, with its shares placed in pre-open.
Recently the company's activities have been focused on iron ore in Gabon.
Earlier this year Volta revealed surface rock chip results grading up to 51% from the Mbombo iron ore project.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 20th November 2013, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
