Lindian Resources identifies southern extension of Sabang copper, silver and gold mineralisation

Lindian Resources (ASX: LIN) has intersected near surface supergene copper, silver and gold mineralisation in a new target zone at the company’s Sabang Prospect, confirming the extension of mineralisation to the southwest.

Exploration drilling on the new target zone, which is 300 to 400 metres south of Sabang Hill indicates the presence of a thick blanket of potentially leachable copper, silver and gold mineralisation beneath a depletion zone.

The peak result from drilling is 4 metres at 112.9 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 1.78% copper and 1.85g/t gold, within a broader intersection of 45 metres at 42.03g/t silver, 1.51% copper and 0.37g/t gold from 31 metres.

Further assays are pending.

One of the holes drilled in this program has been re-entered after early termination due to mechanical issues with the drill rig.

Drilling in that hole is targeting a down dip and lateral extension of the high grade gold, silver and copper mineralisation encountered in previous holes.

The Sabang Prospect is located on the southern portion of Lindian’s Masapelid Project in the Philippines.
