TriAusMin progressing exploration on gold interests in Lachlan Fold Belt

TriAusMin (ASX: TRO, TSX: TOR) has updated the market about the progression of the company's gold interests in the highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales.

The company has increased exploration in recent months, with a geophysical survey delivering some high priority targets at the Lewis Ponds project, with a 1700 metre drilling program to kick off at the project next month.

TriAusMin said at Woodlawn, 3D modelling work at the past producing Woodlawn Mine is identifying marker rock units affected by late stage faulting and folding, which will provide important pathfinders to locate new massive sulphide lenses.

Regarding Woodlawn Regional, a program has been established to target discoveries within a 50 kilometre haulage distance from the well‐established infrastructure at the Woodlawn mine site.

At Overflow, data analysis has been completed from the recent “VTEM” airborne geophysical survey and a number of discrete untested anomalies have been identified.

Finally at Calarie, a farm-in agreement has been entered into with Goodrich Resources.
