Terrain Minerals (ASX: TMX) has been granted a trading halt pending the announcement of a capital raising.
The company has previously touted a capital raising to support work at the Aztec Dome and the Black Cat joint venture as well as for working capital.
At the end of the September quarter, Terrain was well placed in terms of cash, with quarterly cash flow of $200,000 and no debt.
The company previously said the planned capital raising would provide sufficient funds to meet the exploration budget of $959,000 and administration budget of $223,000.
The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Tuesday 15 November.
