Ord River Resources has encouraging results from the magnetic survey at Suplejack

Initial evaluation of airborne magnetic data has significantly enhanced the prospectivity at the Ord River Resources (ASX: ORD) Suplejack Gold Project, located in the Tanami Mineral Field, Northern Territory.

Approximately 4,900 line kilometres were flown and all final processed and corrected survey data has been received.

Data suggests there is a strong structural correlation with previously identified gold mineralisation, and that covered (sub‐surface) extensions to these hosting structures enhances the prospectivity of the Tregony Prospect area and the region lying between Five Mile Bore and PhD North Prospects.

Peter Shou, managing director, said "We are keen to complete the evaluation of the entire survey data set soon and move onto defining drilling targets in our priority one target zone Five Mile Bore and PhD North."

Ord River now has a better understanding of the geology and structures, and have identified several new target zones and structural corridors that the company believe are also target zones.

Ord River will commence a drilling program at Suplejack as soon as the drilling targets are finalised, with the company aim to develop a significant gold resource at Suplejack in the short term, with gold production in the long term.
