Frontier Resources (ASX:FNT) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX, with its shares placed in pre-open.
Frontier requested the halt pending new board appointments.
Both Warren Staude and David Swain resigned from the board ahead of the company's AGM.
Frontier recently wrapped up a diamond drilling program at the high grade gold Upper Zone of the Swit Kia Prospect, EL 1595 – Bulago in Papua New Guinea.
The program covered six holes for 272 metres.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Monday 1st December 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
