Frontier Resources has joint venture news pending, ASX grants trading halt

Frontier Resources (ASX: FNT) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending some interesting news in the form of a joint venture agreement, with the company's shares placed in pre-open.

Frontier has not yet elaborated if the joint venture is on one of the company's own projects, or if it may in fact be Frontier looking to farm-in to a project.

Where the news for Frontier though gets interesting, is the recent announcement of the company completing a drill hole at the Andewa Project in Papua New Guinea at over 700 metres - where the company has been busy.

The hole is the deepest to date at Andewa, and is located within a trending structural corridor.

The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Wednesday 7 March.
