Perth-based Globe Metals & Mining (ASX: GBE) has requested a trading halt pending release of an announcement about a small fund raising.
The halt will last until an announcement is made or commencement of trading on Tuesday 14th December 2010.
On November 22 laboratory chemical results from the maiden reverse circulation drilling program at Globe's Machinga Rare Earth Project, showed high grades of heavy rare earth elements.
Machinga, in southern Malawi, is a joint venture with Resource Star (ASX: RSL) in which Globe earns up to an 80% interest.
