Genetic Technologies (ASX: GTG, NASDAQ: GENE) is preparing to update the market regarding a transaction with its major shareholder.
The Australian Stock Exchange has this morning granted the company a trading halt, with its shares placed in pre-open.
GTG is a molecular diagnostics company, and is focused on the breast cancer risk prediction test BREVAGenTM.
The test is a first in class, clinically validated risk assessment test for non‐familial breast cancer.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Friday 20th December, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
