Genetic Technologies (ASX: GTG, NASDAQ: GENE) has entered into a Settlement and License Agreement with Colorado-based Eurofins STA Laboratories, which has been granted non-exclusive rights to a number of Genetic’s patents covering its non-coding DNA technology.
The agreement provides Eurofins STA Laboratories non-exclusive access to Genetic’s non-coding DNA technology for its products and services.
Genetic is in ongoing discussions with companies relating to the use of its non-coding DNA technology.
Last month the company received a price and volume query from the ASX after its shares hit a A$0.155 intra-day high, a 48% jump on the closing price on Wednesday 25 January.
Highlighting how Genetic Technologies continues to move forward, in December last year the company entered an agreement with German diagnostic product developer AutoImmun Diagnostika, which has also been granted non-exclusive rights to a number of Genetic’s patents covering its non-coding DNA technology.
