Copper Strike in halt, leveraged to Syrah Resources share movement

Copper Strike (ASX: CSE) is in pre-open this morning after the ASX granted the company a trading halt, pending an announcement Syrah Resources (ASX: SYR) of a maiden JORC Resource at the Balama Graphite and Vanadium Project in Mozambique.

Copper Strike owns 11 million Syrah Resources shares and is therefore heavily leveraged to any price movement in Syrah.

The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Thursday 24th January 2013.
