Eclipse Metals appoints Craig Hall as a non-executive director

Eclipse Metals (ASX:EPM) has now appointed a 30 year geology veteran, Craig Hall, as a non-executive director of the company.

The appointment is effective immediately.

Hall brings a principally precious and base metals experience, and has held a variety of senior positions with mid-tier and junior sector resource companies within Australia and overseas.

Hall will focus on mineral deposit identification and advancement at Eclipse's Mary Valley Manganese and Liverpool Uranium Projects.

Mary Valley had historic production of over 31,000 tonnes of ore at a very high 42% to 51% manganese from mining operations carried out during the 1920’s and 1960’s, and is located 15 kilometres south of the town of Gympie in Queensland.

At Mary Valley, recent rock chip samples from the Amamoor workings returned assays of up to 52% manganese, and from the Upper Kandanga prospect up to nearly 41% manganese.

Within the three tenements comprising the project there are at least 22 occurrences of known manganese mineralisation - hinting at the potential within the project area.
