Drillsearch Energy (ASX:DLS) has cased and suspended two wells in South Australia’s Cooper Basin, as future oil producers.
Bauer-18 was the last development well in a four well program at the Western Flank Oil Fairway while Hanson-2 was drilled as an appraisal well.
Drillsearch has a 60% interest in PEL 91 where both wells are located.
The company has also made a wet gas discovery in the PEL 513 joint venture with Santos (ASX:STO).
Yarowinnie South-1 intersected almost 15 metres of net gas pay over several intervals in a gross Patchawarra Formation of 410 metres.
In the Northern Cooper Wet Gas Project Area with Senex Energy (ASX:SXY), the Vanessa-1 exploration well flowed 5 million standard cubic feet of gas per day from the Epsilon and Toolachee formations.
This included condensate production of 15 barrels per MMscf.
