Carnarvon Petroleum (ASX: CVN) non-executive director Neil Fearis has retired on 31 December 2013 after serving as a director for more than 14 years.
He joined the board in 1999, a few months prior to its acquisition of its Thailand join venture interest.
Fearis continued as a director through a number of major board and management restructures, notably in 2000 and 2005.
The company thanked him for his contribution over many years and noted that he remains a significant shareholder in the company.
