Buru Energy (ASX: BRU) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending some potentially very interesting news, with the company's shares placed in pre-open.
The halt is allowing preliminary results obtained from a cased hole well test at the Ungani-1ST1 well site.
The well is the third for the Buru and Mitsubishi Corporation joint venture, with both companies holding an equal share in the current well, and exploration permit 391.
The halt will last until the earlier of the announcement being released to the market, or the open of trade on Wednesday 19 October.
