Boss Resources (ASX: BOE) has completed processing and analysis from the first fixed transient electro-magnetic (TEM) loop at its Skogtrask nickel-copper project in the Fennoscandian Shield, Sweden.
Loop 1 covered around 30% of an area of interest, identified by a recent magnetic survey, and identified four strong TEM anomalies, three of which are coincident with magnetic anomalies.
One of the conductors also sits below shallow disseminated nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation identified in historic drilling.
The fixed loop TEM survey with high temperature SQUID sensors can penetrate up to three times deeper than conventional surveys, up to 1,000 metres, and is the first time such technology has been used in Sweden.
Notably, the survey extends well past the depth of previous drilling by the Swedish Geological Survey in the 1970s.
Data from the second and third loops, which cover the remainder of this initial area, is currently being processed and will be released to market when available.
The new nickel exploration targets are to be tested in an upcoming drilling program.
Boss is valued at around $7.5 million, and the new nickel exploration targets are to be tested in an upcoming drilling program.
