Boss Resources intersects large widths of gold in Burkina Faso

Boss Resources (ASX: BOE) has identified substantial widths of gold at the company’s Golden Hill Project in Burkina Faso, as it works towards a JORC Resource.

Drilling is being carried out to follow up on historical drilling at the A Zone, C Zone and Peksou prospects, aiming to achieve JORC compliant drill spacing.

Shallow reverse circulation drilling at the A Zone prospect has returned intercepts of:

- 50 metres at 1.46 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 9 metres, including 9 metres at 3.23g/t gold;

- 53 metres at 1.05g/t gold from 35 metres, including 13 metres at 2.32g/t gold; and

- 40 metres at 1.02g/t gold from 7 metres, including 17 metres at 1.55g/t gold.

Gold mineralisation at A Zone remains open at depth and along strike, with steeply plunging high grade ore shoots that remain untested at depth.

All holes at A Zone intersected mineralisation, while a further 4,131 drill samples from the Golden Hill project are awaiting analysis.

Boss has also undertaken drilling to expand the currently defined gold mineralisation and Ma East, Pekperine and B Zone prospects.
