Black Rock Mining Ltd (ASX:BKT) has responded to an ASX Price and Volume Query after the company hit $0.18 intra-day today, more than double last Tuesday’s closing price of $0.084.
Black Rock said that it is not aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced to the market.
The company added in to its response to the ASX:
“The announcement on 21 June 2016 confirmed that the company had achieved a TGC concentrate purity of 99.2% on a bulk sample from the Ulanzi prospect and returned for its samples of +75μ size fraction, a weighted average of 99.1% TGC for 86% of the total sample.
“On 5 July 2016, the company announced optimised flotation process applied to Ulanzi and Epanko North oxide and primary mineralisation achieved 99% TGC purities.
“This provides the company with potential to manufacture spherical graphite free of chemical purification from both Ulanzi and Epanko North, oxide and primary zones.
“The results are from a conventional flotation circuit, which offers additional optimisation potential.
“The metallurgical programme will continue as scheduled for the next four to six months, in parallel with the current pre-feasibility and proposed definitive feasibility studies.
“In addition, the current resource is being infill drilled with the intention to deliver Measured and Indicated resources.”
The Ulanzi and Epanko North prospects are located within the company’s flagship Mahenge graphite project in Tanzania.
