Central Asia Resources re-starts gold mining in Kazakhstan, in funding talks

Central Asia Resources (ASX: CVR) shares may be closer to re-listing as gold mining re-commenced at the Dalabai gold operation in Kazakhstan.

This should produce a total of 1,000 to 1,100 ounces of gold sales.

First delivery of cathode gold occurred on 27 September 2013, containing 283 ounces of gold and 669 ounces of silver. Payment is expected to be received by mid-October 2013.

There is around an estimated 40,000 tonnes of surface ore stockpiles now crushed, stacked on Pad 2 and being leached.

Now Central Asia is looking to ramp up production and is talking to a Kazakh bank and also discussing possible equity finance.
