Central Asia Resources (ASX: CVR) has appointed Christopher Campbell-Hicks as the company's In-Country Manager for Kazakhstan.
The company's Dalabai project in Kazakhstan has a resource of; 97,000 gold ounces and 1.36 million silver ounces, with commissioning of a 500,000 tonne per year heap leach facility planned for the third quarter of 2011.
Central Asia has forecast production at 20,000 gold ounces annually, and substantial silver.
Campbell-Hicks is experienced in all aspects of gold processing from design and supervision of test programs, conceptual design engineering, clients representation for detailed design engineering and EPCM, plant commissioning and post commissioning optimisation.
