AusQuest Limited (ASX: AQD) has identified a fourth priority drilling target via electromagnetics at its Dundas nickel-copper project, 80 kilometres from Sirius Resources' (ASX:SIR) Nova-Bollinger nickel-copper discoveries in Western Australia's Fraser Range.
Fixed loop electromagnetic surveys completed recently at Dundas by GEM Geophysics identified a strong conductor, christened Lambda, located close to the Alpha, Beta and Omega conductors within an interpreted mafic-ultramafic sequence.
Modelling indicates Lambda is at least 800 metres long, 50 to 150 metres wide and 200 to 400 metres deep, reflecting a shallow northerly plunge.
A weaker bedrock conductor, Zeta was also located and is another possible target 500 metres east of the Lambda prospect.
Access approvals are currently being sought in order to include the Lambda target in the upcoming diamond drilling program planned to commence at Dundas near the end of this month.
