AusQuest Limited (ASX: AQD) is moving towards drilling some highly prospective nickel and copper targets at the company's wholly-owned Dundas project in the Fraser Range of Western Australia.
It could move higher today on the news.
Dundas is situated 80 kilometres south of Sirius Resources' (ASX: SIR) Nova-Bollinger discovery.
Clearance surveys have been completed over three high priority drill targets identified by fixed loop EM (FLTEM) surveys at Dundas, with the drilling program set to kick off in the December quarter 2013.
Final reports on the clearances are expected shortly which will enable access tracks and drill pads to be prepared.
The importance of airborne and ground-based geophysics and surface geochemistry, is that these exploration techniques played an important role in the discovery of Nova.
With a market cap. of under $3 million, any exploration success for AusQuest will likely result in a re-rating for the company.
