Aura Energy (ASX: AEE) has been granted a trading halt this morning with its shares placed in pre-open, pending an announcement on the company's Häggån uranium and polymetallic project in Sweden.
Just last month Aura provided an update on strategic partner discussions and entered into a binding co-operation agreement with Areva Mines SA, under which Areva agreed to complete a work program over an initial four month period on Häggån.
The project is strategically located in one of the largest depositories of uranium in the world, in Sweden's Alum Shale Province.
The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Monday 15th July 2013.
