Argent Minerals (ASX: ARD) has lodged a claim for a $540,000 tax refund under the Federal Government’s Research and Development Tax Incentive Scheme.
The claim relates to a range of technical development activities associated with the intention of bringing the Kempfield Silver Project in New South Wales into production.
It had in August 2013 completed a new gravity survey to help identify the potential location of massive sulphide target zones at the project.
These had identified three priority targets – Causeway, Gravity Ridge and Quarries South.
The survey and other exploration efforts have also contributed to an enhanced interpretation of the geology and mineralisation potential at Kempfield.
