Applabs Technologies (ASX: ALA) is preparing to reveal details of an acquisition, with the Australian Stock Exchange granting the company a trading halt his morning, with its shares placed in pre-open.
Earlier in the month Applabs unveiled the iPhone version of its much awaited Home Open App that could put the company into direct competition with other digital real estate service providers.
A focus has now been placed on an Android version of the app.
The mobile app developer and financier was acquired by the former AACL Holdings (ASX:AAY) and re-listed as Applabs following a share consolidation and heavily oversubscribed $3 million capital raising at $0.20.
Applabs closed at $0.275 yesterday.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Thursday 16th January 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
