Alchemy Resources (ASX: ALY) has hit some very high grade near surface gold at the Murchison project.
Gold hit highlights include:
- 2 metres at 15.27 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 62 metres, including 1 metre at 30.2g/t gold;
- 5 metres at 1.53g/t gold from 78 metres, including 1 metre at 6.35g/t gold; and
- 7 metres at 0.54g/t gold from 81 metres.
The air core drilling program, focused on the Jeffery Well gold project, included 54 holes for 4783 metres.
The program targeted a potential southern extension of the Sarus gold prospect previously drilled by MPI Ltd in the 1990s.
Alchemy said the results warrant further exploration,
Jeffery Well is held by Alchemy 80% and Jindalee Resources (ASX: JRL) 20%.
