Alchemy Resources in-fill drilling supports gold anomaly at Big Bell North

Second phase in-fill aircore drilling at the Alchemy Resources (ASX: ALY) Big Bell North in Western Australia’s Murchison region has outlined a substantial gold anomaly measuring 2.5km x 1km.

Drilling highlights include from 4m composite sample assays include:

- 32m at 0.33g/t gold;

- 12m at 0.43g/t gold; and

- 12m at 0.17g/t gold.

The intersections support results from earlier sampling and drilling, indicating there is a primary source of mineralisation nearby, with reverse circulation drilling to begin in early 2011.

Michael Hannington, managing director, said “The results at Big Bell North support the exploration model developed by Alchemy for the Murchison district and provide a strong base to continue drill testing this significant gold anomaly.”

Four metre composite assays have been received for 30 of the 58 hole in-fill aircore program, with the remaining results expected in the next week.

The Big Bell North Project is one of six project areas held by Alchemy within the northern Murchison district, which has historically produced more than 14 million ounces of gold.
