Adcorp Australia (ASX: AAU) has received an extension to its contract with NSW Government to provide Media Placement and Typesetting services.

The contract will now continue through to 30 June 2013.

The contract was originally scheduled to end on 31 December 2012 following the two one year extensions granted under the original contract that was awarded to Adcorp in 2008.

Adcorp is Australasia’s largest locally owned communications group with annual billings in excess of $145 million.

The company’s investments in strategic media, creative and digital services have started to expand and enhance its range of services.

Adcorp recently acquired a 40% equity stake in boutique digital agency, Limelight Group Pty Ltd.

Limelight, which has offices in Brisbane and Sydney, is a provider of specialist digital development services.

Adcorp has seen solid demand for its digital, creative, strategic media and video production services and continues to invest to grow the business in this direction.

The growth in the overall online media market is substantial; both in terms of share of advertising dollars and also in the number of platforms now available to advertise on.
