Delta Air Lines Inc (NYSE:DAL), carrying too much baggage as it tries to recover its reputation for punctuality after a computer crash caused the cancellation of about 2,300 flights last month, said on Friday the outage hit revenues by $100mln in August.
The company also said that passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM), a closely-watched sales metric in the airline industry, fell 9.5% in August, year-on-year, after a 7% drop in July.
Delta shares were up 0.6% to $37.05.
