ZipTel’s (ASX:ZIP) Zipt voice over IP international communication application has exceeded expectations with over 1 million installs and revenue of $265,000 since launching on 22nd June 2015.
Other key metrics also highlight the application’s performance. These include:
- Monthly Active Users increased by 396,681 in the month of July to an 882,200 peak in August;
- Usage showed ongoing growth with over 2.5 million calls made and over 500,000 messages sent to date; and
- Continued strong retention rates across day 1, day 7 and day 14 time periods.
Adding interest, the number of users and revenue generated to grow further after it launches full marketing and customer acquisition activities upon global launch of the iOS version on 14th September 2015.
