Rubianna Resources (ASX: RRE) has been granted four new tenements adjoining its Killara base metal project in Western Australia.
The new tenements significantly expand strike continuity of geochemical anomalism at Killara and provides increased exposure to prospective younger stratigraphic horizons.
Historic geochemistry at the new tenements, combined with Rubianna's exploration at its existing ground, highlight the potential for base metals mineralisation at the enlarged Killara landholding.
At the Diamond Well prospect, maximum results of 0.3% copper, 1% lead, 1% zinc, 30 parts per million silver and 110 parts per billion were assayed from a 500 metre long quartz vein.
Immediate exploration will comprise surface geochemistry and mapping over existing anomalous targets in order to define and prioritise areas for follow-up drilling.
