Rubianna Resources expands gold mineralisation at Bloodstone in the Peak Hill Mining District

Rubianna Resources (ASX: RRE) has extended the Bloodstone Gold Project to the northeast, where drilling has defined a quartz veined interval with visible gold.

The Bloodstone Project is located northeast of Meekatharra, within the highly prospective Peak Hill Mining District of Western Australia.

A recent aircore drilling program at Bloodstone returned four metre composite samples of:

- 4 metres at 2.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold;

- 4 metres at 3g/t gold; and

- 4 metres at 0.8g/t gold.

This follows up on previous results of 8 metres at 28g/t gold and 4 metres at 16g/t gold.

Phase 2 of the drilling program will comprise 12 holes for about 1,000 metres to define the western and down-dip extensions of the mineralisation.

Drilling is scheduled to begin in early February, with assays expected three to four weeks from the completion of drilling.

This program makes up half of the Exploration Incentive Program grant awarded to Rubianna by the Western Australian government in 2011.
