Walkabout Resources Ltd's (ASX:WKT) shares are currently in pre-open, following the ASX granting the company a trading halt.
Walkabout requested the halt pending material technical results.
The company recently received approvals for three lithium license applications in Tanzania.
Walkabout already has strong in-country experience as it continues the development of the Lindi Jumbo Graphite project, which is in the south-east of the country.
The company now has an African portfolio leveraged to two commodities which continue to increase in demand.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Thursday 2nd June 2016, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
