Venus Metals Corporation Ltd (ASX:VMC) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX this morning, pending details of a capital raising.
Recently the company applied for two strategic tenements in the world-class Greenbushes lithium province.
The Greenbushes mine, in the Southwest Mineral Province of Western Australia, is one of the world’s largest producers of ‘hard‐rock’ lithium and tantalum; Venus Metals tenements lie to the east of the mine and abut Talison’s mining leases.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Tuesday 19th April 2016, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
