Strickland Resources (ASX: STK) has been granted a trading halt pending an announcement on an agreement to acquire gold assets.
The company has been evaluating numerous resource projects within Australia and overseas, and has held discussions with various parties with a view to finding a project that best fits its future strategic ambitions.
Strickland’s geologist had also carried out a one week technical review over a number of exploration licences in Zambia at the end of June and early July as part of the consulting agreement with Summit Minerals.
The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Wednesday 29th August.
