Rumble Resources to carry out down hole surveys in Fraser Range

Rumble Resources (ASX:RTR) will soon carry out a down hole electromagnetic program at the wholly-owned Big Red Project in the Fraser Range, Western Australia.

This will follow up on its recently completed maiden drilling program intersecting sulphide zones with considerable widths.

Three of the four holes drilled reached targeted depth and intersected the zones within gabbros of the Fraser Range Complex.

The widths indicate this large conductor to be a significant mineralised system.

Intersecting mafic gabbro is of significance as it is the rock unit which can host magmatic nickel-copper sulphide deposits.

All holes are now in Perth and are being cut, sampled and analysed to provide valuable geochemistry.

Big Red Project

The Big Red Project covers 1,491 square kilometres within the highly prospective Fraser Range.

Previous drilling by Teck Australia intersected thin gabbro units which were age dated to 1.3 billion years old which is the age of the Fraser Range complex.

Adding to the interest, Rumble was awarded $150,000 to co-fund exploration on the Big Red Project through the WA Government’s Exploration Initiative Scheme.
