Rumble Resources boosts gold and base metal land exposure in two key provinces

Rumble Resources (ASX: RTR) has made two key acquisitions, increasing its strategic holdings in two of Western Australia's promising provinces, which were acquired from Cauldron Energy for $300,000 cash.

The company acquired interests in the Boolaloo gold-copper-uranium project, located in the Ashburton Gold Province, and the Beadell base metals project in the Patterson Province.

The Boolaloo acquisition expands Rumble's interest in the Ashburton project area, where the company's flagship Paulsens South project is located.

The main lithologies at Boolaloo are the sedimentary rocks of the Proterozoic Ashburton basin and the Boolaloo granite which is the most northerly extent of the Gascoyne complex.

Promisingly, Boolaloo is adjacent to Northern Star Resources' (ASX: NST) Paulsens Gold Mine, which contains an indicated and inferred resource of more than 1.2 million tonnes at 5.3 grams per tonne for 226,000 ounces.

Rumble also made applications for five tenements in the Ashburton province this month.

In the Beadell project, Rumble now holds a 60% interest in two tenements and 80% in another two tenements.

The Beadell project covers the highly prospective Rudall Complex, which is host to world-class occurrences of copper, gold, uranium and manganese.

Rumble, which listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in July 2011, was established with the aim of adding significant value to its current gold and base metal assets and will continue to look at mineral acquisition opportunities both in Australia and abroad.

The company has the right to earn substantial equity interest in three Western Australian projects, Paulsens South, Bulong and Forrestania.
