Aurizon (ASX:AZJ) and Ensham have signed a new long term coal haulage contract to rail 5.5 million tonnes of coal per annum from Ensham's mine in Central Queensland to the Port of Gladstone.
The new agreement will run through 2024 and will extend the exisiting one which expires in 2015.
The new agreement is effective from next month.
