St George Mining posts results from Dragon project

Recent high flier St George Mining (ASX:SGQ) has revealed that two drill holes from an RC program have intersected nickel sulphide mineralisation.

St George has tripled in market value in a month and a half closing at $0.31 yesterday compared with $0.10 share price on 7 September.

In addition to the two intersections of disseminated nickel sulphides the company reported anomalous nickel intersections in numerous drill holes.

These included 36 metres at 0.25% nickel from 178 metres to 214 metres and 20 metres at 0.28% nickel from 194 metres to 214 metres.

These nickel values do not appear economically significant the company said but point to the favourable indications of the upside exploration potential at Project Dragon.

St George said it would review the extensive drilling information from the Project Dragon reconnaissance drilling program.
