Renaissance Uranium (ASX: RNU) has intersected visible copper in all three diamond holes drilled to date at its Eastern Eyre project in the Olympic Dam iron-oxide, copper-gold-uranium belt in South Australia.
The copper sulphide mineralisation appeared within predominantly iron sulphides, consistent with earlier reverse circulation intersections.
Drilling results to date have confirmed the continuity of sulphide mineralisation to the south, which remains open over a distance of at least 700 metres.
In addition, drilling has confirmed the effectiveness of induced polarisation surveys to map sulphide mineralisation, and Renaissance expects to further utilise the surveys as drilling continues.
Drilling will continue into December, with first assay results expected within two weeks.
